Canada’s largest academic conference, Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences, or “Congress,” is only weeks away! We’re thrilled to be sharing a booth once again with the University of Alberta Press and the University of Calgary Press. The theme of Congress is The Next 150: On Indigenous Lands. And so we’re looking to the future and imagining what kind of research might be happening over the next century.
Will grad students be writing dissertations on “reimagining water”? Will we be publishing books entitled “The Diaspora of Americans, 2017–2020: Where Did They Go?” Will journal editors be marking up a submission about urban planning on Mars? What do you think?
We need your help. Using the hashtag #OurFutureLib or by commenting below, help us brainstorm dissertation titles, book titles, journal articles, or a new format of scholarship entirely. It can be optimistic, cynical, pragmatic, fantastical, or out of this world.

You will be able to see the complete Future Library at our booth at the Congress Expo where we might feature your submission!
