February 7: Public Deliberation on Climate Change will be launched at the Edmonton Tower at 6:45 pm. The event, which is a partnership with the City of Edmonton and Change for Climate Edmonton, will feature a roundtable discussion about featuring voices from government, the public engagement profession, citizen panelists, and researchers, all of whom were involved in one of Edmonton’s most ambitious public involvement exercises: the Citizens’ Panel on Edmonton’s Energy and Climate Challenges. February 22: Brian Ronaghan and Robin Woywitka will be presenting “Ancient Landscapes and Prehistoric Human Activity in Alberta’s Oil Sands” Science Outreach—Athabasca. The talk will start at 7:00 pm and will be hosted at the Athabasca University Governing Council Chambers. Details here.
