This volume completes the Depressions Years Series and, for the time being, our publication of the RCMP Bulletins, John Manley examines the RCMP fascination with the CPC and how the CPC coped with the Popular Front and the Nazi-Soviet pact. Manley concludes that the CPC’s anti-war line was a disaster, claiming that “undoubtedly…, the Comintern was the RCMP’s best friend”(29)
